How to Install Tim-pack Texture Pack for Minecraft
In order to use HD texture packs properly (32× and higher) you will need to either patch your Minecraft using MCPatcher or using OptiFine. Optifine is preferred as it includes all of the features of MCPatcher, and greatly increases game speeds and graphics settings. MCPatcher tends to be updated on the same day as Minecraft updates, so use it instead if you are in a hurry.
  • 1.Download either MCPatcher or OptiFine. If you downloaded OptiFine, skip to step 3.
  • 2.For MCPatcher: Run the mcpatcher-X.X.X.jar file and proceed to click “patch.”
  • 3.For Optifine: Install OptiFine like any other mod – By opening minecraft.jar, and placing the .class files from Optifine’s zip file within.

The McKnack Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.5.2/1.5.1/1.4.7

About this pack
The McKnack Pack is a texture pack made with vibrant colors and color tints. Nothing ever needs to be perfect grey. Textures are darkened and shaded using slightly offset hues to make the colors deeper and more vibrant, without being obnoxious.

How to install The McKnack Texture Pack for Minecraft
  • 1.Download a texture pack in a ZIP file format, do not unzip. If you created your own textures, you need to ZIP them. For in-depth instructions on obtaining the files to make your own custom texture pack go to Tutorials/Custom Texture Packs.
  • 2.Run Minecraft. If you already have Minecraft running, make sure you save and quit the world: you need to be in the main menu to continue (If you have Optifine, you can go to Options > Video Settings while in-game).
  • 3.Click Texture Packs button.
  • 4.Click Open Texture Pack Folder button; this will open the folder where Minecraft stores all texture packs. If nothing happens, you need to find the folder manually. Depending on your operating system it is:
    • Windows: %AppData%\.minecraft\texturepacks
    • Linux: ~/.minecraft/texturepacks (This folder may be hidden in the Home Folder)
    • Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/texturepacks (This folder may be hidden)
  • 5.Do not close Minecraft. Place the texture pack (ZIP file) in the opened folder, do not unzip.
  • 6.In a few seconds the texture pack will appear in Minecraft. Select it (may take a few seconds for high-resolution packs), and click Done. The texture pack is now applied, you may now load your world and see the difference.

How to install T42′s HD Texture Pack for Minecraft
  • 1. Download and run the HD Texture Fix . (make sure you are patched to the latest version of the HD Texture Fix.)
  • 2. Download the T42 texture pack
  • 3. Place the downloaded T42 Texture Pack zip file (The zip file itself, not the contents of the zip) in your Texture Packs folder under the .minecraft folder.
  • 4. Run Minecraft and go to Mods & Texture Packs in the main menu and Select the T42 Texture Pack from the list.
  • 5. Play Minecraft!
  • Note: If for some reason this doesn’t work or crashes your game you can reset back to default by opening options.txt file under the .minecraft folder and changing the line “skin:t42_1.#.zip” to “skin:default”. This will make sure Minecraft loaded with the default texture pack.

Derivation RPG Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.5.2/1.5.1/1.4.7

The main theme of this texture pack is RPG theme, and because its 32 by 32 it has been done well and fits the theme great! The developer of this pack has aimed for cuddly looking friendly mobs but sharp textures through out the texture pack
Levauant has done a great job with this texture pack and I knew what style he was going for before I even read his information about the texture pack, which means this texture pack has been done well.

This pack is still in development and many textures will be changed and/or replac-ed over time, in order to complete the pack without relying on borrowed textures.
